Game Review

Carlton enjoyed dishing out their second thrashing in a row, albeit against lower ranked teams, in this 55 point win over Fitzroy. Stephen Kernahan would again fire, with 9 goals 6, with great support from the usual suspects, Greg Williams, Barry Mitchell, Craig Bradley, Fraser Brown and Matthew Hogg.

Carlton would roll out newcomer Brad Pearce in this game, who would manage 8 possessions and kick the solitary behind. Pearce would only play 2 games this year, before exploding in 1995 and becoming a key player to Carlton’s 16th premiership.

Carlton moved into fourth place with this win, 2 games behind West Coast.
