The Evening Journal (p3) in Adelaide talking about the coming season mentions the "Parks" club has recruited "Flowers from the Star of Carlton Club in Melbourne, and a good forward man." (Probably South Park, same person?)

In 1885 a player named B. Flowers was playing for Hotham (North Melbourne) and appeared in the team photo taken in Adelaide.
