The Blues annihilated the Saints in this home game, pulling away in the second and third with consecutive 8 goal quarters to crush the St Kilda team.Greg Towns has been an inspiration to Carlton this year and a major factor in its undefeated stronghold at the top of the VFL ladder. Against St Kilda he was in dynamic form, and with skipper Alex Jesaulenko, contributed in a major fashion to the Blues huge win. - Inside Football Player of the Year.
