Keith Connal

From the 1964 Carlton Football Club Annual Report:

Reference, however, must be made, with a great tinge of sadness, to the resignation from his position as Property Master of Mr. Keith Connal.

Keith has been compelled to resign this position after 26 years of service which has been of incalculable gain to our club. His painstaking attention to detail and his pride in outfitting our players has earned the admiration of all; those who appreciated the immaculate appearance of Gordon Collis at his Brownlow Medal presentation would quickly realise that the man responsible for his outfitting was Keith.

Because of his vigilance in buying and stock control LKeith has saved our club hundreds of pounds and thoroughly earned his selectionas Property Manager of the V.F.L. team that visited South Australia this year.

To Keith, we say, your army of friends at Carlton cannot imagine the Property Room at Carlton without your presence and we hope to have the pleasure of your company at every match for years to come.
