Note

Bigfooty History site - Assumed Names, mentions the article "Football Memories" in the Geelong Advertiser 27 September 1924 (p4).
It mentions Dick Walker former Geelong and Carlton player whose birth name was Edward Slann Kishere.
His father had passed away when he was very young and his mother remarried to a Mr.Walker. However, he had reverted back to his birth name when this article was written.
The article on Trove is mostly unreadable. The original copy of the Geelong Advertiser would have to be viewed.
