generationBLUE

generationBLUE was created in late 2004 as a means for Carlton's younger followers to come together in support of the Carlton Football Club. The basic concept underpinning the group's activites is the hosting of informal functions in which like minded Carlton supporters can socialise in the context of their love for Carlton.

The group officially launched as a membership coterie group in 2005, with a successful initial year. The clear highlight was the well attended breakfast prior to the final game at Princes Park featuring a panel of generationBLUE patron and Carlton legend, Stephen Kernahan, Carlton premiership players Jim Buckley and Dean Rice, journalist Tony De Bolfo, and AFL Operations Manager, Adrian Anderson.

generationBLUE folded at the end of 2006, but the Club remains interested in club support measures for young adult members.
