Known cases that Carlton has had the same average age in Consecutive Rounds


Of Carlton’s 2,288 league matches (to the end of the 2009 season, currently the average ages in 2,047 matches are known, with 241 matches unknown) only six cases are known that the side had the same average age in consecutive matches.
They are,
1939 Round 13 and Round 14 with an average age of 25 years and 324 days old.
1952 Round 11 and Round 12 with an average age of 25 years and 127 days old.
1955 Round 7 and Round 8 with an average age of 23 years and 199 days old.
1965 Round 8 and Round 9 with an average age of 23 years and 193 days old. This was the only exact average age in both matches, all the others are rounding.
1987 Round 10 and Round 11 with an average age of 26 years and 82 days old.
2009 Round 22 and the Elimination Final with an average age of 24 years and 15 days old.
