Game ReviewAfter a "grim and dour first half when the Tigers countered Carlton's pace by tenacious blanketing tactics" (Sporting Globe), the Blues overwhelmed Richmond with a 13 goal to 2 second half.
Jack Howell who "kicked beautifully, dominated the rucks and was unbeatable in the air, stood out as the best player afield" (Gerald Brosnan of the Melbourne Sun (I think)).
Ken Hands report must surely rank as the most frivolous in history (and he copped 2 weeks!!!). Umpire Spokes mustn't have been a fan of Ken's as he had reported him the previous season for "kicking the ball away"
Carlton were 3rd on the ladder with 2 wins and a loss with a percentage of 129.9 after this match.
