Reported in the Geelong Advertiser, June 06 1893 that R. M. Gullan will play for Carlton.

VFA Permit Committee grants Gullan a transfer from Geelong to Carlton.

1893 June 24
R. Gullan played in the loss to Essendon on the M.C.G.
Was named as one of Carlton's better players, high marking being one of his attributes.

1893 July 01
Both R. Gullan and J. Gullan played against St. Kilda in the loss at St. Kilda.
