George Harrison was a trainer at the Carlton Football Club for and amazing stretch of 60 years. He also had two sons who also worked as trainers at the club for a number of years, Keith and Ted Harrison.

George was in Burnie Tasmania January 1950, massaging athletes for the Burnie Gift & athletic carnival.
Runners paid tribute to George's abilities, one, a G. R. Geary won his 220 yard race.
