Pennings' Vol 5 (p58) has E. T. Walters at Carlton in 1877.

1876 May 27
Two players named Walters were named in the 27 man Carlton Second Twenty squad that played Brunswick on the Brunswick ground.

1877 Fair runner, and decent drop, should make a good player.

1878 At the Carlton AGM April 26 it was reported that a Mr. E. T. Walters was Hon. Sec of the Carlton Second Twenty.

1879 May 03
Walters was named in the Carlton Second Twenty team that played Rising Sun in Royal Park. (same person?)
