Cain Liddle was appointed CEO of the Carlton Football Club in 2018.

Cain was originally drafted in the pre season draft of 1994 and played four games for the Geelong Football Club in that year. After his senior AFL career Cain became an assistant coach at the Calder Cannons for several years. After management work for the YMCA and before gaining an MBA from Victoria university Cain began working for the Richmond Football Club's first as general manager of consumer business before rising to Chief Customer Officer in 2016 playing a part in Richmond's massive membership expansion in that time.
