Brendan Dobson only played one season with the Blues in 1986. Dobson was recruited from VCFL club Koroit the same time that a nuggety little rover by the name of Adrian Gleeson was also recruited from Koroit. Dobson had also played U/19's and reserve grade football for Fitzroy from 1982 to 1983 (including a Senior Night Game in 1982).
He did not manage a Senior game for Carlton.
