Carlton Reserve Career: 1931
Reserve Games: TBA
Reserve Goals: TBA
Guernsey No. 16 (1931)

Recruited from Carnegie

Allan Mudge played reserve grade football for Carlton in 1931.

Mudge was a follower who also played in the back-pocket. He transferred to VFA club Oakleigh for the 1932 season.

The Argus noted that he transferred back to Oakleigh from Gippsland club Ensay in 1938, the following season he transferred to another Gippsland club Trafalgar.

He didn't manage to play a senior game for Carlton.

WRT the picture shown, we are not 100% sure this is the same Allan Mudge, this photo is from the East Malvern 1948 team where Allan Mudge is the captain coach and looks much older than the other players. East Malvern is not far from Carnegie so the age and locations match, just unconfirmed at this stage. If anyone can confirm please let us know.
