Alf Green played reserve grade football for Carlton in 1943, he won the Reserves Most Improved Player award in the 1943 season.

He didn't play a senior game for Carlton.


Alec Green, a 24 year old ruckman, played two or three games with Carlton early last year, and then was cleared to St.Kilda, for whom he stripped for the remainder of 1946.
Ar 24 years of age he has many years of football before him yet. He weighs 13 and a half stone and is 6ft tall.
