The Sporting Globe (June 03) said Carlton had postponed their match with Leopold due for Saturday next.
This will enable the Carlton team to travel to Daylesford for the Kings Birthday long weekend. (Monday June 09)
Players are to assemble at Spencer Street Station at 5am on Saturday.
So far no details of this match have been found.

June 14
Carlton played Geelong at Princes Park
The weather was fine but cold. The ground was slippery.
Geelong won the toss and kicked with the wind to the Sydney Road end.
Geelong attacked from the start but Faust and Clarke repelled a couple of attacking moves. Geelong however, broke through for 2 goals and followed it up with another to lead by 18 points at quarter time. 0.3 - 3.3
Martin was injured during this term and was useless for the rest of the game. Blackler received a free kick close in and scored the Blues' first. This was followed with a goal snapped over his head by Dunn. Cahill defended well and got the ball to Robertson whose long kick went through. Blackler from a free scored a goal. Dunn again, snapped a goal. The Blues led by a point 4.5 - 4.4
Geelong dominated the third term with seven goals, booting 5 of them in just 10 minutes. The Blues only goal resulted from a free kick to Ewins, and he kicked to Robertson who took a nice mark and goaled. The visitors had a match winning 37 point lead at three quarter time. 5.7 - 11.8
Within 30 seconds of the start, Blackler with a nice drop kick bought up Carlton' sixth goal. Groves scored the final Carlton goal, the Blues going down by 28 points. 7.8 - 11.12

Richmond kicked with the aid of a strong wind and held a considerable lead at quarter time.
At half time the Blues had reduced the deficit to just 3 points.
With the wind at their backs the Tigers increased the lead to 44 points at three quarter time.
The Blues were out scored in the final term by 8 points to 7.

This was the curtain raiser for the Victoria vs New South Wales match.
Carlton lost two players at quarter time. Dunn strained a tendon and Miller received a knock to the head and was taken to hospital.
