Game Review
The Blues kicked off the year in superb fashion, beating St Kilda by 29 points and earning 1st position on the ladder.
Tragically, champion centreman Rod McGregor badly injured his knee and was forced into retirement after 236 games, a club record which would stand for half a century.
At the end of this round Carlton were in 1st spot on the ladder with a percentage of 170.7.
