Game Review

This game was played on the Monday of the King's Birthday long weekend, and again, Paul Schmidt led the Blues assault on goal. The elusive number 23 for Carlton chopped up another quality defence, and kicked seven more majors on the way to an emphatic victory by the Blues. Schmidt was now third on the goal-kicking table, and Carlton held third on the ladder.

At the end of this round Carlton were in 3rd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 118.2.
