Game Review

A classic game of Australian Rules football; two top rated contenders. Nip and tuck all day. Heroic and spectacular performances. And the right outcome.
The Blues landed their eighth consecutive victory and cemented second ladder position when Syd Jackson coolly slotted a difficult shot 27 minutes into the last quarter.
The Swans hadn't made the finals for 25 years but, led by one of the greatest players of all time in Bob "The Chimp" Skilton, proved they were more than worthy, and sneaked into fourth place, ahead of Geelong by just 1.1%.
