Game Review
The Blues maintained their winning run, but didn't improve their relatively poor percentage with this somewhat lucky win over a committed Hawthorn at Princes Park.Bruce McMaster-Smith and Murray Kick on the wings were Carlton's most constructive players. John Nicholls rucked superbly, while Maurie Sankey was reliable in marking around the ground. The formidable attacking combination of Gordon Collis and Ian Collins on the half-forward line was once again a source of strength for the Blues. - Football Record.
