1886 June 26
Calder named as one of Carlton Reserves/Second Twenty's better players in the thrashing by North Park 6.22 to nil at Princes Oval.

1888 April 06
At the Carlton AGM R. Calder was awarded a gold locket for good play in the Second Twenty.

1888 CFC Annual Report, Calder scored 3 goals for the Reserves.

1894 Calder played against South Melbourne at the S.M.C.G. on July 14.
The Argus said that Carlton played a couple of colts in this game and Calder was one of them.

Origins of Australian Football Vol 4, for 1894 has Calder recruited from Harriers and played 2 games.
