H. Todd played in the Carlton Reserves side that played Kilmore at Kilmore.

1876 July 22
Todd also played in the Reserves against Carlton Imperial at Royal Park.

Promoted late in the season, good kick and dodges fairly.

Todd named in the side that played the Barwon F. C. on the Madeline Street ground.

1876 September 23
Todd named in the side that played Melbourne on the Madeline Street ground.

1877 June 30
Todd played in the game against Williamstown on the Madeline Street ground.
The senior team was delayed in returning from their tour of Sydney.
Instead of forfeiting the game, at team made up of those not selected for the tour, reserves and former players was got together.
The Carlton team won 2-0.

Origins Of Australian Football Vol 5 (p59) has in addition to H. Todd, a U. Todd (5-9 games) playing for Carlton between 1870-76.

The Argus mentioned that a Harry Todd and his brother Alf played for Hotham Hill in the 1870's - 1880's, same players?
