George Howard "Harry" Orwin

Recruited from Clyde in 1888.
(Clyde is believed to a local Carlton club - there is a Clyde Hotel in Cardigan Street.)
The Weekly Times said he was from North Carlton Imperial, a follower.

1888 April 21
Orwin named in squad to play Albert Park (23) at Princes Oval.

1888 CFC Annual Report, Orwin scored 1 goal for the season.

Orwin is named in the squads for these two pre-season games.
His name does not appear in the newspaper reports of Premiership season.

Transferred to Melbourne in 1889, appears in Melbourne team photo of 1890 (Origins of Australian Football Vol 3 Mark Pennings)
