On the Collingwood Forever website, (which is part of the official Collingwood Football Club website) there is a player profile on Fred Mutch. Fred was born in Collingwood and even managed to play three games for the pies in the 1924 season. He also played seven games for the Carlton Football Club in 1926.

On this player profile page is a picture of Fred holding a football wearing a dark coloured guernsey.

If you look more closely at the image you begin to notice something.

The CFC monogram has been erased from the picture. The series of vertical lines you can see are the 'paint' marks of someone removing the CFC monogram using a picture editing program.

We do not understand why the Collingwood Football Club would not want the CFC monogram to appear on their website. It seems strange.

After all, we here at the Blueseum and the Carlton Football Club have no problem displaying the Collingwood guernsey. It is all over the Blueseum and if you walk into the foyer at Princes Park you will see the Collingwood guernsey in several different places. Deleting the Collingwood guernsey never entered our minds.

To illustrate the point see the following examples below.
