Rosa headed off in 2008 to play with WAFL club Peel Thunder, he stayed there for two seasons and was runner-up in their best and fairest in 2009. Rosa would head back to Bendigo and play for the powerful Golden Square FC where he would play in a couple of premierships for the 'Bulldogs' that included a best and fairest win in 2011.

Rosa has his own successful lanscaping business in Bendigo.

He didn't play a senior game for Carlton.

The team was compiled with the help of former and present Bendigo Pioneer coaches that included two former Carlton players Brian Walsh and Tony Southcombe.
