Game ReviewCarlton started well, with Corey McKernan dominating the centre bounces and were in front early in the second quarter but then kicked 6 behinds in a row to the Bombers' 2.2, followed by a 2.3 to 5.1 third quarter and a 2 goal to 4 final quarter, to go down by 31 points. Brendan Fevola had 5 shots at goal but could only manage 1.4. Neither side were all that impressive.
Skipper Andrew McKay was Carlton's best player with 21 possessions and 8 marks. Anthony Koutoufides had 24 possessions, while Scott Camporeale and Simon Beaumont had 23, the latter also had 9 marks.
The match was also remarkable for the failure of the siren to work in the final quarter.
