Pennings' O.O.A.F. Vol. 5 does not list Michael as playing a senior Carlton game.

Brother of Thomas M. Nash


Michaels's son, Robert H. Nash played with Collingwood 1904 - 1909
for 88 games and captained the side in 1909.

Michael Nash is the grand-father of South Melbourne V.F.L. champion Laurie Nash, (Robert's son).

Laurie Nash played 99 V.F.L. games, kicked 246 goals for The Bloods, 1933 - 1937 and 1945.
A.F.L. Hall of Fame.
S.Melb./Sydney. Team of the Century.
He also played Test Cricket for Australia.

Laurie's last V.F.L. game was against Carlton in front of 63,000 at Princes Park in the 1945 "Bloodbath" Grand Final.

Laurie's brother Bob Nash was a star full forward with City (Launceston) and also played with South Melbourne.
