Referred to in differing records as Dick Frost, Robert Percival Bodley Frost, and Jack Frost, Carlton’s only player with this very cool surname appeared four times for the Blues in our first VFL season and was actually born Robert William Frost. Frost was born in London, UK.

Frost's name first appears on May 2 in the match against Ballarat Imperials at Saxon Field, Ballarat. (He was 25 years, 124 days.)
This was round one of the season, in which Carlton had the bye and played the Ballarat side. The Blues lost.
