Francis Albert Dismorr

Dismor/F. Dismorr/Dismore
Confusion over the spelling of surname, however in 1893 an F. Dismorr plays in old players match. See below.

A player named Dismoor was playing for Emerald Hill Second Twenty Sept 05 1868.

1870 Dismore hurt in the Melbourne-Carlton match at Richmond paddock and taken to the M.C.C. pavilion, he later recovered.
(The Argus)

Dismor named in the side that played a Richmond 20 at Richmond Park on July 15 1871.
(The Carlton Story, H.Buggy and H.Bell P25)

1871 Played in the match against South Yarra at South Yarra August 19.

1871. In a bruising match against Melbourne, Dismore was hurt when hit in the chest incapacitating him for sometime. At the Melbourne ground September 30.

Is this the same A. Dismore that played in 1874?

Most of The Argus newspaper team lists for 1871-1874 refer to DISMORR.

1874 June 13
F. A. Dismorr was named in the 28 man Carlton Reserves team squad that played South Park at Albert Park.

1875 Dismorr named in The Argus to be playing in the Carlton First Twenty to play a Carlton 25 in a scratch match at Royal Park Saturday 8th. May.

Relation of A. Dismore and James S. Dismorr?

(An N.Dismorr was named in the 25 for the St Kilda Club team to play Melbourne on 31/07/1859; The Argus 30/07/1859, a relation?
Club colours Melbourne white, St Kilda pink!)

1893 F. Dismorr named in a squad of former Carlton players to play a Melbourne team in a charity game on August 9.
