Career: 1870 - 1871


1870 Murray played in the Challenge Cup match against Albert Park on June 18.

The Royal Park ground was inches deep in slush, and the game ended in a draw.

This was the first time that Carlton had played in a match where teams changed ends at half time.

1870 The Argus has Murray named in the side to play in the Melbourne vs Carlton game on June 11.

1870 Murray named in Carlton side to play Albert Park at Albert Park 23rd July.

1871 D. Murray is named in a squad of 41 players to attend practice matches on May 20 & May 22 to select a team to play Geelong on the 27th.
