Selected at pick #51 in the 2006 Draft. Super quick defender/wingman from Hale in Broome in far North WA. WA U18 representative this year and AIS/AFL Academy Graduate. Ran a 2.95sec for 20m at the NAB AFL Draft Camp. A combined total of 24.74sec for the Repeat Sprint Test saw Clint ranked in the top 3% of players undertaking the test in Canberra.

Clinton put on 3kg in the pre-season of 2008.

After 2 years on Carlton's list, and despite the impressive athletic abilities outlined above, Benjamin was delisted, having not played a senior game for Carlton. Benjamin headed to VFL club Nth Ballarat for the 2009 season. Benjamin's younger brother Warren, was selected by Nth Melbourne in the 5th round (No.71) during the 2008 National Draft.
