The Carlton Social Club was established in 1965.

There is a report in the Sporting Globe May 14 1927 (p5) about the Carlton Football Club's Rabbit Burrow Club.
It contains mention of CFC membership tickets and a list of "commitee members" of the Rabbit Club.
This club was started in 1880 and George F. Bowen has mentioned this club in some of his newspaper articles from the Pre VFL era.
