Recruited in 1884, Beere was the former captain of the Carlton Alberts.

1883 May 05
Beere played in the Carlton second twenty match against Clyde in Royal Park. (same person?)

1884 April 26th. Season opening match;
Beere played in the 4-0 win against a Waverley (23) at Princes Oval.
The Argus named him among a group of recruits who were the better of the club's new players.

1885 Beere scored 3 goals during for the Second Twenty during the 1885 season.

1886 June 05
Beere is named in the Second Twenty squad of 24 to play Fitzroy Second Twenty on Princes Oval.

1889 CFC Annual Report, Beere scored 1 goal in the Reserves.

1890 CFC Annual Report, Beere scored 2 goals in the Reserves.

1910 August 30
The Bunbury Herald (p3) the writer mentions Carlton players of the past Jack Gardiner, Jack Turnbull, Jack Donovan, George Coulthard, Paddy Gunn, Billy Lacey, Billy Dedman, and Bob Beer.
