1896 Elected onto the committee at the Carlton AGM on March 31.

Adam George Kemp played cricket for Carlton in the first eleven 1891-92. Kemp worked for his father who was a prominent building contractor in Melbourne contructing the Athenaeum, Princess, and Palace theatres.
He was a well known bowler with the Carlton and Victoria clubs, and represented Australia in England, Scotland and America in 1920.
Adam passed away in a private hospital 11 February 1934, aged 65 years
His funeral took place at the Fawkner Cemetery and was attended by members of the Carlton Football Club including club president Dave Crone.
