Warren Jarman was recruited from Wanderers FC, and came up through the U/19's to later play Reserve Grade Football in 1979 for the Blues. He was also a member of the U/19's premiership in 1978 playing full-back which was under the guidance of former Carlton premiership winger Bryan Quirk.
Warren Jarman would later transfer to VFA Club Preston and then later to rival VFA club Brunswick.
He did not manage a Senior game for Carlton.
