Weather conditions kept the crowd away, it was reported as a poor attendance with takings of only £52. At 6d a head this would equate to approx. 2,000, plus members.

Coming off the Round 3 Bye, Carlton would lose to the Bombers and fall to fifth spot with just 1 1/2 wins to this point of the year.
