One of the most popular clubmen ever to grace Princes Park, Charlie McInnes, played the last of his 118 games for the Blues on this Saturday afternoon when the Blues beat St Kilda by 15 points. Honest, courageous and versatile, Charlie was 19th man in Carlton’s 1938 and 1945 Premiership teams.
