1881 Reserves, J. Munro; A fine wing player, runs well with the ball.

1888 Munro named in the Carlton squad that played Port Melbourne on the M.C.G. on March 31.
This was a benefit game organized for the English cricketer W. Bates who was injured on tour.

Could be Jack Munro who was the editor of the newspaper "Bowls," who in an interview with the Murray Pioneer and Australian River Record on May 21 1942, said he played with the Carlton Football Club.
However, he would have been nearly 80 in 1942.
